Bermuda
Aquatics, rates each skimmer with your best interest in
mind. Skimmers are typically rated to filter one time
your tank volume per hour. In that most skimmers are
inefficient at skimming, the single tank volume per hour is
typically not enough to remove the
complex organic substances such as decomposing food, urea,
metabolic by-products, algae, phenols and bacteria.
While we prefer to rate our skimmers conservatively, you
could in fact depend on our skimmer to effectively skim your
tank with a single tank volume per hour.
Relative to

the foam is so
condensed within the body of the skimmer that it is almost completely white from
the reflection of foam.

with a silencer to eliminate nuisance of noise
created by the large volume of air being aspirated. Other skimmer manufacturers
don’t have this issue because their skimmers can’t take in

The foam
level is adjusted by either an easy to use expandable
